Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the State Statistical Office and the Faculty of Economics – Skopje
The cooperation aims to bring the academic and public sectors closer together and provide practical experience for students
On 30 April 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the State Statistical Office and the Faculty of Economics at the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje.
The Memorandum was signed by the Director of the State Statistical Office, Dejan Stankov, PhD, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, Prof. Predrag Trpeski, PhD. This document establishes a framework for strategic and long-term cooperation with the aim of developing and implementing activities of mutual interest.
In accordance with the Memorandum, the two institutions will cooperate in organising joint conferences, seminars, training events and projects, enabling professional practice and student visits to the Office, exchange of lecturers and experts from relevant fields, support in research activities and events related to statistics and economics, and other initiatives of common interest.
This cooperation aims to strengthen the connection between the academic community and the public sector, as well as to offer students opportunities for practical learning and application of the acquired knowledge.
