Signed Data Exchange Agreement
As a result of the long-term successful cooperation, today, the directors of the State Statistical Office, Dr. Dejan Stankov, and of the Administration for Public Revenues, MSc. Elena Petrova, signed a Data Exchange Agreement between the two institutions.
The signing of this Agreement is aimed at achieving high quality and consistency of official statistical data and reducing the burden on data providers, which is in accordance with the priorities of both institutions, but also in accordance with the provisions of the Law on State Statistics.
The Agreement specifies the type of data that will be exchanged, the method and periodicity of exchange and the responsibilities of both institutions in terms of data protection.
The exchange of data with the Administration for Public Revenues represents another proof of the commitment of the State Statistical Office to the efforts for maximum use of administrative data in the country for statistical purposes.
