Visit by high school students from Gevgelija to the State Statistical Office
As part of its efforts to raise the level of statistical literacy among young people, today the State Statistical Office hosted a group of students from the High School "Josif Josifovski" from Gevgelija.
The students, together with their professors, had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the basic functions of the Office, its coordinating role in the National Statistical System, and of course with the production and dissemination of official statistical data.
Particularly interesting for the students was the Office website and the Maxstat database with all the possibilities it offers to users.
The State Statistical Office will continue the tradition of meetings and presentations of its work to high school students from all over the country in order to raise awareness of the importance and the useful value of official statistical data.
