Today, April 22, 2025, the State Statistical Office hosted a group of students and their professor from the International Balkan University in Skopje. The event was dedicated to the topic "Sample Selection and Data Collection Methods", during which through a presentation, the students had the opportunity to learn directly about the statistical practices applied by the Office.
The presentation, prepared by the experts from the SSO, covered the key aspects of the process of sample selection, data collection and their editing. The employees presented their experience through specific research, which contributed to an interesting and productive discussion with the present students.
These meetings are of particular importance for improving the knowledge and the practical skills of the students, as well as for deepening the cooperation between the academic community and the State Statistical Office. The Office remains open to such initiatives in the future, with the aim of further connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world application in statistical practice.
