Consumer Price Index and Retail Price Index, July 2026

Inflation measured through the Consumer Price Index in July 2026, compared to June 2026, was 0.1%. 

In July 2026, compared to June 2026, an increase in the Consumer Price Index was registered in the following groups: Transport by 4.4%, Recreation, sport and culture by 2.6%, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.9%, Restaurants and accommodation services by 0.7%, Education services by 0.3%, Alcoholic beverages, tobacco and narcotics by 0.1%.

In July 2026, compared to June 2026, a decrease in the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance by 1.4%, Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1.1%, Clothing and footwear by 0.2%, Information and communication and Health by 0.1%.

The Consumer Price Index in the groups Insurance and financial services and Personal care, social protection and miscellaneous goods and services remained at the same level as in the previous month.

The Retail Price Index in July 2026, compared to June 2026, was 101.3.

The Consumer Price Index in July 2026, compared to July 2025, increased by 2.3%, while the Retail Price Index increased by 1.8%.
