Issued building permits, August 2026

In August 2026, a total of 333 building permits were issued, which was 18.9% more than the same month of the previous year. 

According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 21 777 160 thousand denars, which was 315.5% more than the same month of the previous year.
The increased value is due to the fact that for the reference period a building permit was issued for building a highway A4, Section BC Blace – Skopje.

Of the total number of issued building permits, 224 (67.3 %) are for buildings, 18 (5.4%) are for civil engineering structures, and 91 (27.3%) are for reconstructions.  

Of the total of 333 structures, for 231 (69.4%) the investors are private persons, and for 102 (30.6%) structures the investors are business entities.

In the reference period, 1 030 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of       80 530 m².
