Indices of the number of employees in industry, March 2026

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2026, in comparison with March 2025, decreased by 6.9%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 2.8%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 0.6%.

The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in March 2026, in comparison with March 2025, was lower in Energy by 2.1%, Capital goods by 3.6%, Non-durable consumer goods by 3.4% and Intermediate goods, except energy by 2.9%, but higher in Durable consumer goods by 1.0%. 

The number of employees in industry in the period January - March 2026, in comparison with January - March 2025, decreased by 3.3%.
