Indices of the number of employees in industry, September 2026

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2026, in comparison with September 2025, decreased by7.6%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 2.9%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 1.5%.

The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2026, in comparison with September 2025, was lower in Energy by 1.6%, Capital goods by 2.7%, Non-durable consumer goods by 4.5%, Intermediate goods, except energy by 2.7%, and in Durable consumer goods by 1.7%. 

The number of employees in industry in the period January - September 2026, in comparison with January - September 2025, decreased by 2.8%.
