Enrolled students in the first cycle of studies, academic year 2025/2026

In the academic year 2025/2026 the number of enrolled students was 55 036  students, which represents an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous year 2024/2025. The number of enrolled female students was 32 957 or 59.9%.

The largest number of students, 77.8%, enrolled in state higher education institutions, while 22.2% enrolled in private higher education institutions.

In the first year of studies, in this academic year, 16 212 students or 29.5% of the total number enrolled (this includes students who enroll in the first year for the second, third and multiple times) and 14 995 students enrolled in the first year for the first time.
