Marriages and divorces, 2025

In 2025, compared to 2024, there were 5.1% fewer marriages and 8.0% more divorces

The number of marriages registered in 2025 was 10 507, representing а decrease of 5.1% compared to the previous year. The most marriages were registered in August, 1 362 or 13.0%, and the fewest in March, 473 or 4.5%.

By marriage order, most were first marriages, with participation of 92.8% for women and 92.1% for men.

Men entered more often into second marriage, 7.1%, and third marriage, 0.8% of the total number of marriages.

In 2025, the highest number of marriages, 3 448 or 32.8% by age of bride and 3 750 or 35.7% by age of groom, was registered in the age group 25-29.

The average age at first marriage is 27.5 years for the bride and 30.2 for the groom.

The highest number of porces, 400 or 18.3% by age of women and 381 or 17.4% by age of men, was recorded in the age group 35-39.

According to the duration of marriage, most porces, 478 or 21.9%, took place 5 to 9 years after marriage.
