In 2025, there were 20 287 deaths which represents an increase of 0.4% compared with 2024.
The structure by sex, shows higher male participation, 10 498 and 9 789 women.
The number of infant deaths was 62 and participation of infant deaths in the total number of deaths was 0.3% (per 100 deaths).
By months, most 2 002 deaths were in January and the least in April 1 506 persons.
The average age of deaths was 72.2 years for males and 76.6 years for females, which means that women outlive men by 4.4 years on average.
Мost deaths by (ICD-IX), were due to circulatory diseases (I00-I99), which up to 34.0% of total number of deaths, neoplasms (C00-D48) with 19.6%, while with 6.5% were deaths due endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases (E00-E90), the deaths due to respiratory system diseases (J00-J99) with 3.7%, and the others with lower participation.
