Meeting with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic – Emphasising the Continuous Cooperation Between the Macedonian and Czech Statistical Systems

It was emphasised that such partnerships represent an important foundation for the development of modern, efficient, and reliable statistical systems, which are essential for creating quality policies and ensuring transparent communication with the public.

On 1 December 2025, the Director of the State Statistical Office, Dejan Stankov, PhD, held a working meeting with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of North Macedonia, His Excellency Mr. Jaroslav Ludva. The meeting served as an opportunity to affirm the exceptionally good cooperation that has been built for more than two decades between the State Statistical Office and the Czech Statistical Office.

In a pleasant and constructive atmosphere, discussions focused on the importance of international statistical cooperation and the positive results that stem from shared experiences and the support that both institutions have nurtured over the years. It was emphasised that such partnerships represent an important foundation for the development of modern, efficient, and reliable statistical systems, which are essential for creating quality policies and ensuring transparent communication with the public.

The Director and the Ambassador confirmed their readiness to continue the cooperation and to initiate new activities that will further contribute to strengthening bilateral relations. The meeting concluded with a mutual assessment that the partnership between the two statistical institutions is an example of successful and long-term institutional cooperation.
