Meeting with the students from "Goce Delchev" University in Shtip
In front of a large number of students, the director of the SSO, Dr. Dejan Stankov, gave a lecture on the topic: "Official statistics, a window for understanding society"
As part of the celebration of the European Statistics Day, October 20, representatives of the State Statistical Office visited the "Goce Delchev" University in Shtip.
In front of a large number of students, the director of the SSO, Dr. Dejan Stankov, gave a lecture on the topic: "Official statistics, a window for understanding society", in which he addressed the meaning of official statistics, their useful value and how important they are especially for students in the process of their education and preparations for entering the labor market.
Director Stankov and the rector of "Goce Delchev" University, Dr. Dejan Mirakovski, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation that deepens and improves the existing cooperation between the two institutions and establishes new activities for greater involvement of students in increasing statistical literacy among young people.

Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the State Statistical Office and the Chamber of Accountants
The Memorandum will enable better coordination between the two institutions, organisation of joint events with an emphasis on the alignment of statistical and accounting regulations and standards, as well as support in the process of high-quality financial reporting, with the aim of obtaining accurate, precise and comprehensive data that are subject to statistical analysis.
