Visit of students from the Institute of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy – Skopje
This type of cooperation between the academic community and the State Statistical Office is of particular importance for advancing the knowledge and practical skills of future sociologists

Today, 16 April 2025, a group of students from the Institute of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje and their professors made a study visit to the State Statistical Office. The visit was part of their regular curriculum and aimed at introducing the students to the practical application of statistical methods in the surveys in the field of sociology and social sciences in general.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to learn directly about the work of the Office, the methodology of data collection and processing, as well as the importance of statistics in creating public policies and analyses. Representatives of the State Statistical Office gave a presentation with different types of information about statistics, followed by a discussion and answers to questions from the students and their professors.
This type of cooperation between the academic community and the State Statistical Office is of particular importance for advancing the knowledge and practical skills of future sociologists, and it will continue in the future with joint activities that will contribute to an even closer connection between theory and practice.

A Memorandum of Cooperation between the State Statistical Office and the Customs Administration was concluded
