Education

Education is understood to involve organized and sustained communication designed to bring about learning. The statistical surveys on education provide data on the primary, secondary schools and universities, as well as data on students and teaching staff in educational institutions according to various characteristics.

Scientific - research activity constitutes research which contributes to the development of scientific thought and raises the scientific level in all areas and fields of science, contributes to the international transfer of knowledge, technologies and skills for the overall development of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The surveys in primary and secondary education are conducted every year, with reference period at the beginning and at the end of the school year.

The surveys in higher education and science are carried out annually.
